Nov 16, 2009Quiksilver will be celebrating it's 40th anniversary Nov. 20-21 at the Grand Palais in Paris with a festival featuring music, art, fashion and, of course, skateboarding. The largest vert ramp ever constructed in Europe has been built inside the dome of the Grand Palais as well as massive street course open to all skaters free of charge. Tony Hawk, Andy MacDonald, Kevin Staab, Sandro Dias, Jean Postec, Sergie Ventura, Jesse Fristch, Christian Hosoi, Daniel Cardone, Javier Mendizabal and Omar Hassan will all be skating on Sunday. The event is open to the public 10 am - 6 pm, the concert Saturday night is a ticketed event featuring performances by Mix Master Mike and Dead by Sunrise aka Chester Bennington of Linkin Park.
